Accurate measurements are critical for anti-glare film installation. For rectangular windows, measure width and height at three points (top/middle/bottom for width, left/centre/right for height) and use the smallest measurement. Add 10mm overlap for edge-to-edge coverage. For curved glass (common on boats and some commercial buildings), create a template using paper or cardboard pressed against the glass surface. Photograph the template with a ruler for scale and send the images to us. For very large windows, note whether the glass is single or multi-pane, as film is applied per pane. Also note the glass type — tempered, laminated, low-E, or standard float glass — as this affects which film adhesives are compatible. Blinds Concept provides free measurement guides and will verify your measurements before cutting. For commercial and marine projects, we offer on-site measurement services in select markets.
