Troubleshooting & Care

Fix common issues and keep your blinds, shutters and motorized window treatments running smoothly for years.

Most blind issues come down to one of three things: tension, alignment, or power. Use this guide to diagnose and fix the most common problems before booking a service call.

Always anchor any cord or chain with the supplied child-safety device. If your existing blinds aren't anchored, contact us — we'll send retrofit clips at no charge.

The brake clutch needs re-tensioning. Pull the chain firmly down 3–4 times in one direction. If it still drifts, the clutch may need replacing — contact us with your order number.

The lower bracket is slightly out of alignment. Loosen it and shift it 2–3 mm forward or backward until both fabrics roll cleanly.

Use the tension screw at the top or bottom of the louvre stack. Tighten a quarter-turn at a time until they hold but still tilt freely.

Reset the motor (small button on the head), then re-pair the remote. App-controlled blinds: power-cycle the hub first and confirm Wi-Fi signal.

Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment monthly. Spot-clean with a damp microfibre cloth — never soak fabric blinds. Wipe shutters and faux-wood with a barely-damp cloth.
