Frequently asked questions

Why won't my roller shade stay up?

The internal spring mechanism may need re-tensioning. Roll the shade halfway up, remove from brackets, manually roll it up several turns, and re-mount. If it still won't hold, the spring may need replacement.

How do I fix uneven blinds?

For horizontal blinds hanging unevenly, check that both brackets are level. For blinds with twisted or tangled ladder cords, gently straighten them by hand. If slats are permanently bent, individual slats can often be replaced.

My cellular shade won't go up. What should I do?

For cordless cellular shades, pull the shade all the way down, then push it up firmly from the bottom rail. This resets the internal cord lock mechanism. Repeat 2–3 times if needed.

Can damaged blind slats be replaced?

Yes — individual slats on horizontal blinds can usually be replaced without replacing the entire blind. Contact Blinds Concept with your product details for replacement slats.
