Frequently asked questions

Can different window treatments be mixed in one home?

Yes. Many homes use different products by room — for example blackout in bedrooms and solar shades in living areas — chosen to match fabrics and controls.

Can a whole home be motorized together?

Yes. Motorized shades in different rooms can run on one app and be grouped into scenes and schedules.

How do I choose the right fabric and control for my room?

Think about how much light and privacy the room needs, how often the window is used and how easy it is to reach. Bedrooms often suit blackout fabrics, living spaces suit light-filtering or solar fabrics, and tall or hard-to-reach windows are good candidates for motorization. We bring samples to every consultation so you can compare in your own light.

Do you measure and install, or can I do it myself?

Both. Our team can professionally measure and install in the Halifax and Charlottetown areas, or you can follow our step-by-step measuring guide and order made-to-measure online.
