Linked rollers operate from a single control. Bracket alignment across the link is critical — even 2 mm of misalignment puts strain on the link mechanism.

Secure the chain-end bracket first: Install the bracket at the chain (or motor) end first, then work outward. This anchors the link's drive end.
Install intermediate and end brackets: Fix the remaining brackets, confirming each is on the same plane as the first. Use a level between every pair.
Insert the first roller: Slide the first blind into its brackets, motor/chain end first, then the link end.
Connect the link: Engage the link coupler between the first and second roller. The coupler should slide in with light pressure — no forcing.
Insert remaining rollers: Repeat the link-and-insert step for each additional section.
Test the full run: Operate the chain or motor and confirm every section moves in unison without binding. Adjust bracket alignment if any section lags.
Secure cords: Anchor the chain (or, for motorized, tidy any visible cabling) and confirm no exposed cords are within child reach.
Misaligned brackets put torque on the link coupler and will eventually fail. If a section lags, stop and re-check level before forcing operation. Linked sets above 3 m are best motorized.
