In this project, we installed motorized drapery in a stunning condo — full-length curtain panels that glide open and closed at the touch of a button, transforming the living space from wide-open city views to a private, cocooned retreat in seconds. Why Motorized Drapery in a Condo? Condos with floor-to-ceiling windows and wide glass walls present a unique challenge: the curtain span is often too wide and too heavy for comfortable manual operation. Pulling heavy drapery panels back and forth multiple times a day gets tiring quickly — and over time, the constant tugging can damage the fabric, pull the track out of alignment, or cause uneven stacking. Motorized drapery eliminates all of that. A quiet, precision-engineered motor mounted inside the track moves the panels smoothly along the rail at a consistent speed. The fabric hangs perfectly every time, the folds stack evenly when open, and there's zero wear from manual handling. It's the kind of upgrade that feels like a small luxury every single day.
