In high-rise buildings, window sizes and ceiling heights can vary from unit to unit, so off-the-rack curtains rarely fit properly. Our panels were cut to a precise floor-length finish with a clean, weighted hem that keeps the fabric hanging straight and prevents billowing. Ceiling-Mounted Track System To maximize the sense of height and create a seamless wall-to-wall look, we installed a ceiling-mounted drapery track rather than a traditional curtain rod. The track is recessed and nearly invisible, allowing the sheer panels to glide smoothly across the full width of the window. This approach eliminates the visual clutter of brackets and finials, delivering the clean, modern aesthetic that condo owners expect. The track system also makes it easy to draw the panels fully open, stacking them neatly to one side when you want an unobstructed view, or spreading them across the entire window for a soft, diffused look throughout the day. Layering Options for Complete Light Control While sheer drapery excels at daytime privacy and light softening, some condo owners want the option of full darkness for sleeping or movie watching. In those cases, we recommend layering sheers with a secondary blackout roller shade or a blackout drapery panel on a dual-track system.
