Wholesale Window Coverings, Made in Our Nova Scotia Workshop

If you specify, buy or install window coverings for other people, you need a supplier that can make custom sizes reliably, answer technical questions quickly and keep a project moving. Blinds Concept is a manufacturer-direct option: we assemble our private-label blinds and shades in-house at our head office in Burnside, Nova Scotia, and supply them to trade customers across Canada and the USA.

This page explains who we work with, what we make, how a trade relationship with us works, and where we ship. Trade pricing is quoted per project, so the fastest way to see numbers is to apply for a trade account and send us a schedule.

Who we supply.

Our trade customers range from a designer outfitting one home to developers ordering every window in a multi-unit building. Since 2019 we have completed more than 3,700 projects, from single rooms to large multi-unit and institutional jobs.

What we make and assemble in-house.

Our Burnside workshop cuts and assembles our private-label products to order. That gives us control over sizing, fabric choices and quality checks before anything leaves the building. Alongside our own line we carry Graber and Norman, so a project can combine house-made products with established outside brands where a specification calls for them. The framed Perfect Fit honeycomb shade is imported rather than made in our workshop.

What the trade relationship looks like.

Working with us is project-based. You send a window schedule, drawings or a list of openings, and we come back with a written quote that shows each line, product and option. Once approved, we fabricate to the confirmed sizes and arrange delivery or installation.

We can quote from your own measurements or, within Atlantic Canada, measure on site. For larger jobs we keep one point of contact so questions about fabrics, controls or sequencing go to someone who knows the project. Discounts, minimums and lead times depend on the products and quantities involved and are confirmed on each quote rather than published here.

Why trade buyers work with a workshop rather than a catalogue.

A catalogue supplier sells what is on the page. A workshop can adapt. Because our private-label products are cut and assembled in our own building, we can handle unusual widths, mixed product types within one unit, and consistent fabric matching across hundreds of openings. When a site measurement changes, the conversation is with the people making the product, not a distant order desk.

For designers, that means samples and specifications that stay consistent from the first presentation to installation. For builders and developers, it means one supplier for every window in a building, from roller shades in the suites to drapery in the amenity rooms and awnings on the ground-floor patios. For property managers, it means a supplier who can match an existing specification years later when a unit turns over.

Where we ship.

In Atlantic Canada we offer in-person service from our showrooms in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, including site visits, measuring and installation. Everywhere else in Canada, and across the USA, we ship finished products to you or your installer, and you can book a free virtual consultation to review samples and specifications.

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell blinds and shades wholesale?

Yes. We supply designers, builders, contractors, property managers and developers with custom blinds, shades, shutters and drapery. Pricing is quoted per project once we see your window schedule.

Are you a manufacturer of blinds or a reseller?

Both. We assemble our private-label blinds and shades in-house at our head office in Burnside, Nova Scotia, and we also carry Graber and Norman for projects that call for those brands. The framed Perfect Fit honeycomb shade is imported.

Do you ship wholesale orders outside Nova Scotia?

Yes. We ship across Canada and the USA. In Atlantic Canada we can also measure and install, while customers elsewhere work with us through a free virtual consultation and ship to their site.

What do I need to get a trade quote?

A window schedule, drawings or a list of openings with approximate sizes is enough to start. Tell us the product types you are considering and whether you need installation, and we return an itemized quote.

Do you supply wholesale shutters and Roman shades?

Yes. Plantation shutters, Roman shades and custom drapery are part of our trade range, alongside roller, zebra, honeycomb and motorized shades.

How do I open a trade account?

Apply through our trade page. We review each application and follow up to set up the account and discuss your first project.
